We are a specialized used book store, not a general used book store. In other words, we don’t carry all subject matters, and we don’t really carry a ton of books. (Not like the behemoth bookstores where I cut my teeth.)

That said, I’m always happy to talk with you about the books you’d like to sell, whether one or ten thousand. If they’re not right for us, we’ll try to steer you in the right direction.

we do buy:

Photography, art, science fiction and fantasy, classical fiction, first editions, poetry, literary non-fiction, and a broad range of scholarly books. But you never know.

The best thing is to call me (503-267-3084) or send a message (below) first and see if it’s worthwhile for you to come here or me to go there to look at your books.

Questions to answer:

How many books?

Hardcover or paperback?

What subject matter?

Have they been stored in a garage or basement and gotten musty or wet?

Are they in nice condition or pretty worn?
